If you’re worried about your employment, whether that’s understanding your rights, redundancy, pay, terms & conditions or disputes. The Growth Company together with Citizens Advice and a network of legal partners, set up Employment Legal Advice Service - a service to specifically help individuals across Greater Manchester to access free employment-related legal support. Our service is designed to help you access the right advice at the right time as quickly and easily as possible.
If you think you need Employment Legal Advice one of our friendly advisors will take you through the following simple steps:
How does it work
Step 1: Contact
Provide us with details of your employment issue, either by email, phone or by filling in a brief enquiry form.
Step 2: Triage
Your enquiry will be passed on to one of our dedicated triage advisors who will review your case and decide on an appropriate pathway for you. Please note that our triage advisors cannot give legal advice themselves.
Step 3: Referral
If one of our advisors thinks you need a further conversation with a solicitor they will match you with an expert from our network of Pro Bono legal partners. They will book a meeting for you, giving you the chance to discuss your case for free and receive expert advice on your next steps.

ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service)
ACAS is an independent body that works with millions of employers and employees every year to improve workplace relationships.
They can offer free, impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice, and help to find solutions to disputes between employers and employees.
Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton
Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. They provide free, confidential, independent, and impartial advice and information, including employment problems.
